Tanzanian singer Rajab Abdul Kahali aka Harmonize has threatened to quit music over what he has termed as ‘too much hatred’.
In a statement via his socials, a frustrated Harmonize alleged that there are people who have been positioned in the music industry to frustrate his efforts.
“Despite the efforts I have been putting into my music to ensure that my contribution to the industry is impactful, hatred has become too much. I’m tired and soon I will quit the music and leave it to them,” Harmonize said.
He went on to allege that he knows that people hate him and they are intentionally trying to take him out of the game.
“Najua nachukiwa ila huu ni mpango rasmi wakunipoteza. Daah Sawa. Namuachia mungu,” Harmonize shared.
The Never Give Up hitmaker further stated that he is now focusing on defeating boxer Hassan Mwakinyo in their planned celebrity fight so that he can even change his career.
“Let me focus na kumchapa Mwakinyo ili nibadilishe profession, cuku ni nyingi sana huku. Pengine kutakuwa na amani. I know I can do it God help me,” Harmonize wrote.
The singers lamentations come days after his heated argument with his former boss Diamond Platnumz.
It all started when Platnumz told his fans that he was proud of the people he helped break through into the music industry.
One of the people he mentioned was his former WCB signee Harmonize. This did not sit well with Harmonize who felt like Diamond kept reminding people that he was the one that helped him succeed.
Diamond responded by saying he has to be proud of him and invited him to his show.
"Tajiri na mali zake, maskini na wanawe. Mali sina, acha nijivunie na nyie wanangu wa dhahabu. Kwenye 15 years, nataka tufanye event moja ya ukoo mzima and we celebrate kidogo, Mungu alichotubariki."
Harmonize responded to Diamond by saying he would not attend his event.
"Tatizo maskini huyu, ukumbuka wanawe akishakusanya mali zake. Haiwezikuja kutokea hio miaka 15 maan Sh 600 M kunilipa hutoweza."
In another post, Harmonize went on to accuse Diamond of preventing show promoters from hiring him for their shows.
"Ni vile unajivunia sana hadi inachosha, tena unajivuniaga pale unapotaka huruma ya watu. Kisirisiri unawaambiaga waandaa show, hasa za nchi ya nje kwamba nikiwepo mimi huwezikuzifanya maana tutaonekana tupo level moja...."
Harmonize was once signed by Diamond Platnumz under his WCB music record label before they parted ways in 2022.
Harmonize has since revealed that he paid millions of money to leave the label.
