Libianca, a successful female artist from Cameroon, has reportedly made the decision to halt her North American tour due to what she described as threats to her life.

According to the Cameroon News Agency, the popular artist, known for her hit song "People," stated on Friday that her team decided to take these measures due to two warring factions in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon, which continue to fight in Nigeria, threatening her life by displaying the Cameroonian flag.

Libianca wrote this message to her North American fans who were eagerly awaiting her, expressing her disappointment at not fulfilling her promise to them.

According to the report, one of these threats came from a militant leader in Belgium named Sam Thomas Achoa, who runs an online propaganda page.

"Guys, I will postpone my tour due to the death threats I have been receiving. I refuse to cancel, I just need time to take necessary precautions, I love you!" she said.

Libianca mentioned that the threats intensified after she finished her shows in Australia but also expressed her belief that peace will one day return to these two areas and Cameroon will be a united and solidary nation.
