Billie Eilish has unveiled plans for an 81-date global tour set to kick off later this year.

The acclaimed singer of "What Was I Made For" has confirmed tour stops across North America, Australia, and Europe starting in September.

In an effort to make her latest tour the most eco-friendly yet, Billie has partnered with an environmental organization to ensure sustainability throughout the tour.

Tickets for the tour, named after her upcoming album "Hit Me Hard And Soft," will go on sale on 3 May.

The tour will commence in Canada on 29 September before making its way to the US in October. Subsequently, Billie will head to Australia in February and then to Europe in April.

Included in the tour are 12 dates across the UK, featuring performances in Glasgow, London, and Manchester.

Known for her commitment to climate activism, Billie previously made her 2022 tour "climate positive" by eliminating more emissions than it generated. She collaborated with Reverb, a non-profit dedicated to sustainability in the music industry, for this purpose and will continue this partnership for her upcoming tour.

Initiatives for the tour include reducing single-use plastics, providing plant-based food options, and contributing a portion of profits to support climate projects.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Billie emphasized her dedication to minimizing waste in all aspects of her music, influenced by her upbringing and awareness of the impact of every choice.

For her upcoming album "Hit Me Hard And Soft," slated for release on 17 May, Billie intends to limit the environmental impact of physical copies by using recycled vinyl and packaging materials.

Additionally, Billie announced that she would not release any singles in advance, preferring fans to experience the album in its entirety.

The tour announcement follows Billie's participation in the Fortnite Festival, a rhythm-based game within the popular online shooter, following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga.
