On Friday, March 22, 2024, all roads led to the Weston Hotel for the official launch of the much-awaited Fourth Man EP by 1005 Songs & More.

The new EP which features Shani, Muhanji, Florence Mureithi, and Wuod Omollo is set to captivate gospel music enthusiasts.

The amazing EP has been produced by super music producer Wuod Omollo at 1005 Record Label – a production house committed to writing and producing impactful music.

 

The EP launch was graced by notable figures among them First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto who was the chief guest at the function.

Other superstars who were present at the EP launch include Media personalities Cynthia Nyamai, Kalekye Mumo, Timeless Noel, Ben Cyco, Jabidii, Didi Man, Matata, DJ Gee Gee, KTN’s Nailantei, Gift Bwire, Jeremiah Kariuki, Sylvia Wanjiru, Grace Chelimo, Lydia, among others.

The listening session featured five tracks: Munoma,” which stars ‘’Shani’’ “I Will Wait,” “I Hear a Sound,” “One A Dem,” “Anticipating,” and “League of Your Own.”

Gospel lead vocalist Andrew Awili, 1005 Songs & More shared insights and inspiration derived from God, as well as reflections on the creative process.

The First Lady praised the Lead vocalist, 1005 Songs & More music group for setting new standards in music production and inspiring young people. She emphasized that music has the power to deeply touch the soul and serves as a universal language.

She reiterated the Kenya government's dedication to supporting Haiti.

During her speech, she highlighted the recent discussions between Kenya and the United States regarding Haiti, emphasizing the importance of collaboration.

Additionally, she announced the formation of a prayer group aimed at offering support and prayers for the policemen who will be deployed to Haiti.

Driven by the aspiration to surpass the biblical Solomon’s record of 1005 songs, as mentioned in 1 Kings 4:32.

They extend an invitation for others to partake in disseminating Christ’s message through their musical endeavours.

Their inaugural album, “Repeat,” was released in December 2023.
