Nollywood actor Johnpaul Obumneme Odonwodo aka Jnr Pope will be buried in May.
The actor died aged 43 after drowning at a River.
"With heavy heart but total submission to God, we the family of Chief Luke Odonwodo of Uwala Abaka, Ukehe, in Nsukka, Igboeliti, LGA of Enugu state, regret to announce the irreparable loss of our beloved son, father, uncle and favourite superstar," wrote a statement from the family
The family went on to give update of the funeral arrangements.
Tuesday 23rd April 2024: Requiem mass at St John Mary Vianney Pasrish, Asaba, delta state
Monday 13th May: Requime mass at Christ The King Parish, GRA Enugu state
Tuesday 14th May: Evening of Tributes/ Candlelight at Amadeo events center
Friday 17th May: Burial Mass at St Peter's Parish Ukehe, Interment follows immediately after mass
Sunday 19th May: Thanksgiving mass at St Peter's parish

He was born in Bamenda, Cameroon, on May 7th, 1981 and later moved to Nigeria while he was still young.
He made his acting debut in 2006
He and three others succumbed as a result of drowning at Anam River while returning from a film shoot via boat
Hours before the accident, he shared a video asking the captain to slow down as he is the only son and has kids who depend on him.
He was shooting a movie titled 'The Other Side Of Life'
He is survived by his wife Jeniffer Awele and three sons.
