American rapper, actor, television producer, and businessman Curtis James Jackson III popularly known as 50 Cent has announced that he will be suing his baby mama Daphne Joy Narvaez for defamation.
The 48-year-old artist trough his lawyers is firing back at Daphne for what he states as “falsely and publicly” accusing him of “rape and physical abuse” during their past 3-year relationship.
Daphne, who is a model, actress and entrepreneur and 50 Cent dated back in the day from 2011 to 2013 and during the course of their relationship were blessed with a baby boy named Sire Jackson.
50 maintains he came to the decision after his baby mama failed to retract her statement which she made on the 28th of March and apologize for knowingly and fasely trying to tarnish his name. He maintains he feels his baby mama launched the witch attack aimed towards him over the sheer fact that he publicly stated he was looking to acquire full custody of the 11-year-old son, Sire.
His legal team had sent a letter to Daphene Narvaez on April 2 demanding a “prompt retraction.”
"Despite being given ample opportunity to retract a false and malicious retaliatory accusation, Ms. Narvaez has shamefully chosen to interfere with her 11-year-old son’s relationship with his loving father by falsely calling him a 'rapist.'"part of the legal document from the actor's lawyer reads.
It goes on to highlight that the model decided to attack her baby daddy due to her friendship with Sean Diddy Combs, who has been trending on the internet for all the wrong reasons. Diddy and 50 have their differences and on countless occasions have not been shy to make this known on social media.
"The motivation behind this appears to be Ms. Narvaez’s unfortunate entanglement and misguided loyalty to Mr. Combs, who we believe to be underwriting this attack and whom Mr. Jackson has been warning Ms. Narvaez and others about for many years." the documents go on tp read.
50 Cent had announced the decision to file for sole custody of the 11-year-old minor after Daphne was implicated in the Diddy case.
