The 76th Golden Globe Awards took place a few hours ago and we got to see some of our favourite actors scoop awards.

Sandra Oh became the first Asian woman to win a Golden Globe award, which is quite an achievement considering no Asian woman has ever scooped such an award.

In case you don't know who Sandra Oh, she is famously known for playing a role in Grey's Anatomy, a medical drama series that focuses on a group of young doctors at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, who began their careers at the facility as interns.

In as much as that's a big deal, Christian Bale also made headlines after winning the Best Actor in a comedy or musical for “Vice” in last night's award ceremony.

Well, Christian's speech was quite shocking, a statement that no one expected.

Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration for playing this role,” he said talking about his character of Dick Cheney in the political satire.

During the morning conversation on Kiss FM, Adelle and Shaffie were equally shocked with his speech. they both didn't understand how someone would say such a thing and move on as if he didn't say that.

"The first person he thanked was Satan. I said it right, Satan. Let me tell you something, if this dude was never struck by lightning, hiyo story ya kuambiwa sijui lightning nyef nyef, issa lie," Shaffie expressed himself.

Adelle on the other hand said, "I'm even scared of talking about it."

What do you think about Christian's speech?
