Melinda Gates, wife to the richest man in the world, Bill Gates is currently in the country.The Moth, which is an amazing storytelling movement powered by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation was having it's first show in Kenya.

Well, Adelle Onyango was fortunate enough to meet Melinda and discussed "gender inequality and the ways storytelling can be a powerful instrument to bring change. Moreover The Hive another Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation brainchild is also at the forefront of leading discussions that help get us closer to gender equality."

When asked if she got to talk to her she said, "I did get to talk to her alongside powerful Kenyans like Caroline Mutoko, Janet Mbugua, Paul Tergat about gender equality and how all of us are passionate about certain issues under that - gender based violence, harassment etc."

So what did she learn from the whole forum and about Melinda?

"I learnt that she’s genuinely passionate about the gender agenda and very wise in critically thinking about how best to get that conversation out globally."
