But Tero explained why she left in silence and why she decided to also join the ministry.
"It was time for me to serve God and the only way I could do that was to be able to transition into now, from this hype entertainment, all over the place person to be able to just calm down and give God time to mould me, to change me and to be able to be used. I think for me as me, I don't think you could minister to people when you have that much energy. As in the person Tero was and putting her in a spot where she has to minister, I think it would have been too much, so there had to be time to transition and telling people that I'm leaving to go do ministry, I thought it would have been hard for people to digest that, so I was like let's try and make it easier and clearly it wasn't easier but let's just leave silently," she told Adelle on Breakfast With The Stars.
Last year when Tero Mdee (changed her name to Nancy Hebron), released her first gospel song, Joe Muchiri so it fit to diss her music and the choices she made and this didn't go so well with the public especially with DJ Kaytrixx, who worked closely with her.

In an interview with Adelle, Tero finally addressed the issue stating that she's never met Joe in person and that everyone has their own opinion.
"I have never met him, I know him, I've heard of him but I have never met him like face to face. If I were to meet him what what would I say to him? Wow, I don't know. Everyone has their perception of what they think is beautiful or what they think is attractive. I mean, he has the right to his opinion at the end of the day, but how does someone receive it, how does it affect you, would you change yourself because of someone else? So you say something harsh to someone, and then?" she said.
