American gospel singers Mary Mary have finally confirmed that they'll be performing in Kenya come 27th June, 2017. Tina and Erica Campbell, took to social media to confirm the news writing, "KENYA!! We're coming...FINALLY! 💕."
The news has been announced trending for months now, but no one was sure if it would actually happen, considering Kenyan entertainment industry has a trend of postponing events time and again.
Mary Mary have been in the gospel industry for years now and they broke onto the music scene with their popular song "Shackles (Praise You)", which is considered one of the pioneering songs of urban contemporary gospel music.
The group's name, as stated in an interview, is inspired by the two famous Marys from the Bible; Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, and Mary Magdalene. Both sisters are married to men who happen to have the same last name – Campbell.
