The war broke out between Kanye, 41, and Drake after the Canadian musician, 32, reportedly asked for permission to use a sample from West's track Say You Will.

Kim, 38, warned Drake to stay away from her partner and their children North, five, Saint, three, and Chicago, 10 months.

She penned:

Never threaten my husband or our family. He paved the way for there to be a Drake

She elaborated on Twitter:

My husband is the most brilliant person, the most genius person that I know. He has broken so many boundaries, everything from music, stage design, fashion and culture and will continue to change the world.

Kim broke her silence following on from Kayne's epic Twitter rant on Thursday.

'So drake if anything happens to me or anyone from my family you are the first suspect. So cut the tough talk,' wrote Kanye.

In an earlier tweet, addressed to no one in particular, Kanye claimed 'Drake called trying to threatened [sic] me.'
