NBA legend, Dwyane Wade, ended his long run in front of his adoring fans in Miami in style courtesy of Gabrielle Union.

In his final home game, before he retires, Wade dropped 30 points in a 122-99 blowout win over the Philadelphia 76'ers.

And the emotional and exciting night was he capped off with a passionate smooch from his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, as she held tightly to their five-month-old daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade.

The evening began with an heartfelt pregame ceremony to honor Wade, who has been the face of the Heat franchise since he joined the team in 2003, with the exception of the season-and-a-half he spent in Chicago and Cleveland.

He soaked in some of the emotional festivities alongside his wife and new baby, admitting afterwards that he could barely hold back the tears.

But duty called, and Wade and his Heat team came out of the gate fast, to the delight of Union and her two friends sitting next to her: John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen.

They cheered him on, along with the raucous crowd, with each and every basket he scored.

When it was all over, the sure-fire Hall of Fame guard scored 30 points in 34 minutes on the court.

He would take a final curtain call alongside his family after the final buzzer rang out.

'It's meant everything,' Wade said after the game as reported by ESPN. 'To be able to come here and be embraced, to find a home, to be able to grow.'

He added, 'I hope they are proud of what they have helped me become. This city means everything to me. It's forever, forever, forever going to be my home.'
