Kamene and Kibe Thursday morning hosted Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on The Morning Kiss to talk more about the hottest political topic taking Kenya by storm - BBI.

The conversation followed a decision by Senators to upheld the impeachment of Ferdinand Waititu as Kiambu Governor.

Murkomen also spoke about his private life, revealing  that in his younger days, he was a pastor.

"I was a mini pastor. I had a church in Ngara and I used to preach. At first many people would come and because of my accent, people left which meant we couldn't collect much. I hadn't learned how to speak in tongues. I was a real preacher and I still believe in it. I was not in the church just for money. There was content but I also needed the money to pay for University." Murkomen revealed.

Kamen Goro laughed about this because she was in the presence of ex pastors.

Both of you are cut from the same cloth. You have both tried the religious business that failed

Murkomen also said when he was in high school he was the guy who was not speaking in tongues when the pastor was preaching.

"When I was in high school Pastors used to come and people are speaking in tongues so because I was not I decided that I need to start speaking in Marakwet to confuse people because the pastor will never understand. I did it because I did not want to be left out. I had a conversation with my wife just the other day and she was surprised that she was not the only one who was like that and that she found a partner which is her husband. I believe that yes people do speak in tongues and I do not know the purpose. The good thing is God listens to any language." He narrated

Before ending the interview with Kamene and Kibe, he left the youth who were listening on The Morning Kiss with a few words of advice saying,

"Try your best to find what is your contribution to life and then keep hope alive and work hard. Even for us, it was not easy. as leaders I am the son of a squatter. Every successful person went through a difficult life. We may look smart but they may be having more problems than one can imagine." Murkomen said

He added that his first job was not all so glorious.

"I was a volunteer with two masters in law. even with a masters from abroad, I used to commute from Ngumba to Westlands and They used to pay me a stipend of 20k. Do not listen to people who say there are no jobs. just be your best and be unique and you will always stand out and get a good-paying job. Try to do something even without formal education. Even if you do not have an education, the government has put up courses that will give you money eventually. "He added

Murkomen left the studio mentioning that he had a very good time in studio with the radio duo. Actually better than he had expected based on the warning he was given.
