Kamene and Jalas are today addressing the death of Othuol Othuol and the plans ahead to his funeral.

The reality is, it's sad one of them is gone. Giving an update on the funeral plans, Jalas said.

"Every artiste who has had his last curtain call, we have a huge tree at the center of Kenya National Theater, we take our departed brothers there for artistes to view those who can not make it to the burial place.

Also this is for the departed to say goodbye to the art they started from."

Kamene sent her condolences to the comedy fraternity saying

"Poleni sana. I saw this is a family all of you together to support the each other when it is good or bad."

Jalang'o then went on to add that,

"This is the saddest thing I have never told anyone. If they as artistes keep going as they are, we will lose a lot. Funny enough when one dies, it is always about Churchill and Jalas and those who have made it.

When you find a platform and join, the question should be, have you made a platform or has the platform made you. That is why they are still calling him, Othuol Othuol of Churchill and not Eric Omondi of Churchill. He used the platform, then went ahead to create his own."

He went on to add that young people need to stop this thing of wanting it all at once without the effort. It does not work like that.

"I talked to one of the Churchill comedians, Akuku Danger and asked him if he has ever performed for 5k people he said yes under Churchill. Adding that he could never bag such a crowd even if he goes back to the same venue he scooped a 5k crowd." Jalas said

He emotionally warned those coming into the world of fame saying,

"Fame comes with a lot. One is that people love the craft you do and not you. Let not fame get into your head. It is a journey and they should ask the likes of Churchill on their journey. Young comedians need to know that it is a journey and they need to live in the process. "

Adding that ,

"People blame Jalas and Churchill but what are you doing to create your platform. I have been in this game for way to long and I am still at the number hit music station."

After paying attention to her co-host, Kamene gave her parting shot saying,

"The young ones get into fame , the money comes, the women come, the alcohol will definitely join in. Trust the process. We did not build this brand in a day, in fact, we are still building it."
