'My mother refused to hug me' Akothee on the effects of COVID-19 on family
Akothee threw a huge and glamourous graduation party for her daughter Vesha a few weeks ago. An all-white party with a lot of special names in attendance.
Do you know how hard it is to get PLO Lumumba to go to a party? We need to respect Akothee more.
Anyway, in attendance was her mother whom we all know she loves dearly. But because of what COVID-19 has done to us, there are so many changes we are not used to.
I mean, the African culture is all about love so hugging and handshakes are the norms. But not anymore.
"My mother is the most difficult woman to please 🏃♀️🏃♀️, first, she abandoned my flight bookings, then she took a bus to Nairobi. Secondly, she refused to hug me she said I move around a lot. she doesn't want corona 🤦. This woman would not allow me to do my speech in peace she actually refused that I should not say I educated my children alone with anyone's contribution. She says it's not by my might, it's by God's grace 🤦, AKOTH DUOKNE NYASAYE EROKAMANO NYITHINDO OKOMAKONI ICH GI PESANI GO TEE.
