As if being one of the richest black celebrities is not enough, Jay Z just surpassed the biggest sale of an autograph.

According to SlabStox Sports Card Trading, it is the largest sale for a none sports card by Goldin Auctions.

"This is a public service announcement... a Jay-Z Topps Chrome Superfractor RC Auto 1/1 just sold for $105,780 via @goldinauctions. That marks the all-time record for a non-sports/TCG card."

The card's price - starting with a minimum bid of $500 - veered into six figures amid a total of 49 bids. The 2006-2007 Topps Chrome card reads Signs of Stardom and shows the rapper in a grey three-piece suit, with his signature affixed to a silver strip. 

 

 

To bring it home, the amount of money the card below was auctioned for was ksh11,635,800. Yes for a card.

The moral of the story, work hard and money will just come your way even when you least expect it.
