There was an interesting conversation this morning between Kamene and Jalang'o regarding how men express love, especially via texts.

Kamene argued that men have started becoming more in touch with their emotions and that sparks their creative side which leads to them writing down poems to their lovers.

Jalang'o said the moment a man starts writing poems it stops being sincere and that a short and sweet text should be enough.

"Just tell a woman, hey baby you are beautiful and have a beautiful day. She will believe you. When did we start composing poems? Let us just be men, how do you sit down and start writing things that you know you are lying? We are not in form four!" Jalang'o said.

However, this time around many differed with Jalas and believe that men should be allowed to express themselves the way they can, while some men felt like Jalas will now plant ideas into women's heads.

Below are some of the reactions the conversation elicited;

Just Macharia: @jalangoo wewe unachoma sasa πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ wengine wetu hatudanganyi manze!. Sasa utafanya watushuku and wengine wetu we mean it. Hapa Acha niwe team @kamenegoro πŸ™Œ.

Nkiro Tee: Wacha watu waji express

Angweye Humphrey: At the touch of love, every man becomes a poet. _ Plato. Am sure Jalas has borrowed our(poet's) lines somewhere . Poetry is truth from the inner most being, we don't lie,we just let her know how we feel, and it's a moment's thing, we don't heap poetry on her every morning or evening, we do it in moments, and we are damn good at it!πŸ˜‚ . The phrase β€œ Love like a poet " exists for a reason, and am afraid you @jalangoo can't change thatπŸ˜‚... Socrates tried to and failed, besides you understand women and words, there's nothing you can do about itπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
