Brenda Wairimu leaving me was a blessing - Juliani

Musician, Julius Owino aka Juliani says when his much publicized relationship with Brenda Wairimu ended, it was a blessing in disguise.

Juliani and Brenda broke up about three years ago after dating for about eight years. The two have a six-year-old daughter, Amor Njeri, whom they are co-parenting.

Speaking to Standard media, Juliani said;

"I think Brenda leaving me was the most beautiful thing that happened to me, because when you are in a relationship you always think you are doing what the other person wants."

He added,

You think you are a hardworking man, wewe unamletea maua yeye anataka skuma, so the day they decide to leave it has nothing to do with you.

He says the breakup left him disoriented for a while but in the long run, it helped him realize who he is.

His relationship with God improved and more so he now sees Brenda in a better perspective now compared to when they were together.

The rapper who is now dating Lilian Ng'ang'a was asked whether he is planning to get married and he said his life is just perfect the way it is.

"My life is perfect I am 37-years-old and I have a kid with Brenda Wairimu so I am good," he said.

Last year, Juliani was forced to dismiss rumors that the two don't co-parent.

“She is the mother of my child and I can’t take that away from her. She has helped ensure that I spend time with my daughter as I try my level best to provide,” he said.

“I may not be together with her in a relationship or romantically but as the mother of my child I respect her so much. Besides, she is also a good person.”
