Singer Gilad Millo officially a Kenyan after 21 years

Former Israeli diplomat Gilad Millo is officially a Kenyan citizen.

The popular singer who has serenaded us with hits like 'sema milele' and 'Unajua' was elated as he announced the great news through his socials.

He says that he is proud to be Kenyan, a country he stepped foot in 21 years ago. Gilad applied for Kenyan citizenship 6 years ago.

"It has been 21 years since I first came to Kenya and 6 years since I applied for my Kenyan Citizenship 🇰🇪 Now it is finally official.NAJIVUNIA KUWA MKENYA #GodIsGood,"  wrote Gilad.

Having lived in Kenya for a couple of years, the father of two considers himself African, having been swept away by Kenyans’ sense of humanity and togetherness, adding that “it is better here” contrary to the notion that the West is the best place to be.

His Kenyan celebrity friends were elated for Gilad and sent their hearty congratulations messages;
