Why Iyanii was dumped on valentine’s day

During a recent interview with Kiss 100, pombe hitmaker Iyanii talked about his past relationship, why he hates valentine’s day and his collaboration with size 8 on her new and first album.

“Ilikuwa valentine’s na sikuwa na kakitu…so akaenda out na msee mwingine akanizimia simu…manze ilihappen... manze aliendea mubaba” Iyanii revealed how he ended up being single.

Iyanii says that he was dumped on valentine’s day by his girlfriend who switched off her phone moments after Iyanii called her and said that she won’t be celebrating the special lover’s day with the 'pombe' hit maker.

Iyanni added that he was ready to mingle and has no standards over any woman who would dare shoot their short towards the singer.

Iyanii, having had a successful breakout year in 2021 with hit song, pombe, just released ‘Tukutane kwa bar’ on February 4th, 2022. The song clearly focused on single men who had no valentines plans and convincing them to meet up in a bar and have a good time, maybe there, they would meet someone to celebrate next year's valentine’s with.

On his music career, the singer has promised many more hit songs to come as he is already recording more songs in studio.
