Obinna: 'Kiss FM is paying me 6 times more!'

To celebrate Obinna’s new job at Kiss FM, 2Mbili, on his YouTube channel, brought out the comedian to congratulate him despite them having been gunning for the same position and his loss on securing the position.

Dissecting the amount of allowance, a retired president is paid giving an example of 750K, Obinna interrupted by jokingly saying that his salary is equivalent to a retired president’s entertainment allowance but hurriedly disregarded his statement clarifying that he won’t reveal the actual amount but he is being paid 6 times more than what he was receiving before.

"I did not say anything, but what I will say is, it is somewhere between ...but what I want to say is, what I'm being paid is good let's say it is 6 times what I was being paid previously," He said.

Obinna added that he would never, at any point, accept a double offer from his previous employer if they would want to poach him from his ‘new home’

"we move. You know there are people who are now working and being paid a lot of money, but the environment they are working in is not conducive, friendly, or a happy environment. I would choose a happy environment with less money rather than an environment where you are pressed, and not happy. Nowadays, I chose peace."
