Former Tahidi High actress, Jackie Matubia and her fiance' actor Blessing Lung'aho, aka Madiba just welcomed their newborn baby.

They shared the news in an Instagram post letting fans know that the baby ( a healthy boy) had finally arrived.

The couple wrote,

" Goood Morning ☺️Great news!!! Baby is finally Here!!!We give thanks to God for a safe delivery… This was one interesting delivery so watu wangu wa YouTube the video will be up very soon so Subscribe and hit the notifications bell… Thank you Fam for your prayers 🙏🙏. Blessed Monday!"

Friends and family flocked to her post to send the couple love and congratulatory messages.

The couple has however not yet shared the baby's name yet.

This is Jackie's and Madiba's first child together even though they both have kids from their previous relationships.

Speaking on Youtube, the actress had hinted that she was not ready for her second pregnancy and actually found out about it when she was already eight weeks pregnant.

This is because at the time, she was on contraceptives.

She said, "I wasn’t feeling well. I even thought I had contracted Covid-19. I had no appetite, and his cologne was irritating me. I was at a point where I never thought I could be pregnant again."

"Between my last period and the time of conception, when I was getting pregnant, I was on family planning — an injection."

"The doctor told me I was eight weeks pregnant, I froze. I did not know whether to laugh, cry or shout. This second pregnancy, I wasn’t ready because our relationship was just in the ‘honeymoon’ period."

During an exclusive interview with Kalondu Musyimi,  Jackie's fiancee had shared that he and Matubia would not document their child's birth as they are not the kind of celebrities to record such moments and publicise them.

It seems as if Matubia might have decided to share some of the moments with the public as per her Instagram post.

Blessing during the interview had said,  "We are not those kinds of celebrities but I don't judge that 'cause I've followed a lot of American celebrities and this is something that they do so I wouldn't judge Kenyan celebrities for doing that."

He also added that he relishes his privacy.
