Amber Heard gets marriage proposal from Saudi man
An Arabian man proposed to Amber Heard letting her know that he would take care of her
American actress Amber Heard just received a marriage proposal from an unidentified man from Saudi Arabia.
This comes days after she lost a defamation case against fellow US actor, ex-husband Johnny Depp.
The proposal was posted on an Arabian Instagram entertainment news page and has over 187 thousand views.
The page obtained audio notes that the said man direct messaged Amber on her Instagram account.
In the voice messages, the Arabian man told Amber that he was "So much better than that old man (Depp)."
He went on to try and persuade the Aqua-Man actress that he was the only person who could take care of her.
He said, "Amber... since all doors are closing on you, you have no one except me to take care of you. I've noticed that some people hate and bully you, therefore, I decided to marry you. May Allah bless us both.'
The man went on to add that Amber is a blessing but people were oblivious to that, 'You are a blessing but people don't appreciate that. I am better than that old man."
Amber has not responded to the direct message or offered a quote in regards to the proposal.
Johnny Depp filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard over an op-ed Amber had written for The Washington Post in 2018 where she had described herself as "a public figure representing domestic abuse."
Although she did not name Johnny in her article Depp sued her for implying that he was an abuser arguing that it had hurt his image and career.
On July 2nd, a US jury found both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard liable for defamation though they sided mostly with the 'Pirates of The Caribbean,' star Johnny Depp.
Ironically enough, their case had been handled by a court in the UK 2 years ago and Depp lost.
How the same case got tried on two sides of the pond and got different results will forever baffle many.
