Media Personality Jacque Maribe has been forced to clear the air over viral reports that she has landed a new job in Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s office.
In a statement released on Monday, September 26, 2022, Maribe sought to clarify that she is not Gachagua’s Director of Communications – pouring cold water on the viral reports.
“I am not the Dire tor of Communications at the Deputy President’s office,” Maribe clarified.
However, she used the opportunity to appreciate Kenyans who had reached out to her with congratulatory messages.
“Thank you for the good wishes, calls, and Texts. Mambo Ya God,” the former TV girl said.
Over the weekend, Maribe confused confusion among her followers after re-sharing a viral post that insinuated she had landed a job at DP Gachagua’s office.
A Twitter used to put up a post, congratulating the former TV girl – an update she embraced, making Kenyans believe that she had a new job.

Maribe shared the post on her Insta-stories saying it can only be God.
"Mambo tu ya God."
