Anerlisa Muigai officially divorces singer Benpol
After the separation, Pol opted for online sessions to help him heal from the nasty breakup.
Keroche Heiress Anerlisa Muigai has officially divorced her husband singer Benpol.
Muigai announced that she has finalized her divorce process with her now ex-husband Benpol.
In an update via her social, Ms. Muigai thanked her lawyers for doing a fantastic job - ensuring the process is finalized within the shortest time possible.
“Officially Free. It would not be fair to not give a shout-out to these two advocates who worked tirelessly to make sure that the divorce was done quickly and not wait for years.
"Hamza Jabir and Hosea Chamba. Thank you for your work and for doing everything as requested,” Anerkisa shared.
She went on to share private chats with one of her lawyers –confirming that the divorce process was complete and she no longer identifies as Ben Pol’s wife.
Singer Benpol filed for divorce months after officiating his relationship with Anerlisa through a church wedding
The Star filed the divorce over irreconcilable differences and other reasons that were not made public.
In July 2021 while in an interview with SkyWalker, Pol said that their relationship was on and off despite being legally married through a church wedding.
“It’s true I filed for Divorce, lakini process bado inaendelea. Divorce inachukua time, so kwa hiyo kisheria bado tumefungwa pamoja lakini kihisia sidhani kama kuna mmoja anataka kuwa na mwenzake” said Ben Pol.
The singer mentioned that the divorce period was a very difficult stage in his life.

Asked whether he is willing or still has feelings for Ms. Muigai, Ben Pol replied;
“Kwa saa hivi mimi namuombea tu heri lakini kusema ati namzimia, hapana hakuna kitu kinaweza kutokea kati yangu mimi na yeye.
Simfeel kabisa, unfortunately, sidhani kama ni kosa, huo ndo ukweli wangu” said Ben Pol.
The singer went on to reveal that his biggest regret was ignoring the red flags in their relationship until it was too late.
During the interview Pol also noted that they wedded in a very secretive affair but unfortunately no family member from Anerlisa Muigai’s side was able to attend.
The Divorce
In April, Ben pol confirmed that he had filed for Divorce from his wife Anerlisa Muigai and the divorce proceedings are still ongoing at the primary Court (Mwanzo Court in Dar es Salaam).
