Retired President Uhuru Kenyatta on Tuesday paid a visit to the home of the late George Magoha to condole with the family.

Uhuru arrived at the home in Lavington at around 2.30 pm accompanied by former First Lady Margaret Kenyatta and a host of Cabinet Secretaries.

At the home, Uhuru was received by former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka had earlier arrived at the home where he also condoled the family.

Also present at the home were Magoha's former Cabinet colleagues Joe Mucheru, Margaret Kobia, Fred Matiang'i, Peter Munya, Ukur Yatani and former Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho.

The death of the professor has been seen as a big loss and a blow to the education sector.
