The weekend is here and you are wondering what you going to do or watch just to pass time without getting bored.

With so many options to choose from, from Showmax, Netflix, Amazon, and YouTube, it’s overwhelming to decide what to watch.

That’s why I have compiled a list of weekend movies and series recommendations.

So grab some popcorn, get cozy, and let me help you decide what to watch this weekend.

1. You

If you’ve binged You: Season 4, Part 1 and are already desperate for more, then you’re in luck, because the second half of episodes was released early in March.

We’ll continue to see new and even darker faces of Joe Goldberg’s unique and horrifying brand of love as he inhabits the new Identity of Professor Jonathan Moore in London.

" You" season 4 ended with a big and bloody bang so make sure you watch it.

2. Alchemy of Souls

If you are a lover of Kdramas and you have not watched this, just watch it.

It has two parts with a total of 30 episodes each episode running for over an hour.

The series is about the love and growth of young mages as they overcome their twisted fates due to a forbidden magic spell known as the "alchemy of souls", which allows souls to switch bodies.

3. Shadow and Bones

Shadow and Bone season 2 was released this week on March 16.

The hit Netflix fantasy series, which is based on Leigh Bardugo's bestselling novels, returned for a second season, and a whole new magical adventure.

This fantasy show follows Alina Starkov, an orphan who discovers she is a Grisha gifted with rare magical powers that could help save the world.

4. The fallen sun ( Luther)

You might've heard of the crime series Luther, which follows Detective Chief Inspector John Luther (Idris Elba), who tries to build cases against criminals, while also having complicated relationships with some of them.

Now, four years after the series ended, Netflix dropped a film that continues the story, titled Luther: The Fallen Sun. Make sure you check it out.

5. Swarm

This new psychological horror series on Prime Video follows a young fangirl named Dre ), whose obsession with a pop star whose aesthetics are similar to that of Beyonce is reaching scary (and violent) new heights.

The show is a deep dark dive into Dre's life, her fandom, and how it takes her to dark, unexpected places.

 6. The Night Agent

FBI Agent Peter Sutherland is thrown into a vast conspiracy about a mole at the highest levels of the United States government. To save the nation, Peter plunges into a desperate hunt for the traitor, while working with the terrorized CEO Rose Larkin, and protecting her from the people who murdered her aunt and uncle.
