Nollywood actor Yul Edochie

Nollywood thespian, events host and politician Yul Edochie has cleared off all his Instagram posts including his display photo following the death of his teenage son.

A look at his verified Instagram account which boasts over 2.3 million followers currently shows he has no photos even though he had hundreds of Instagram posts.

The clean sweep of his account comes days after the controversial actor deleted photos of his second wife, Judy Austin, and their son.

Fans are still in shock due to the sudden clearing of all his Instagram posts, including his profile photo. His current profile photo is just a black post.

Remember, Nigerian superstar Davido did the same thing after losing his 6-year-old son last year. However, the "IF" hitmaker left only 3 of his posts that include his partner Chioma and his late son.

Yul's action comes weeks after he lost his firstborn son, Kambilichukwu Edochie.

In March it was revealed that Yul lost his 16-year-old son after he developed a seizure while playing football in school.

The teenager was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital where he was rushed after the seizures on the 30th of March.

Kambilichukwu was Yul's first male child and second-born child from his marriage with his first wife May Edochie.

The young boy was birthed by the actor and his first wife, May. Edochie got married to his first wife May Aligwe when he was 22 years old. Their union was blessed with three sons and a daughter.

The veteran actor, who has remained silent over the issue on social media, was said to have urged the police to look into the tragic incident.

However, beyond that, he and his bereaved wife have remained silent on social media and have yet to issue an official statement regarding their child's death.

According to Nigerian blogs, police in Lagos, led by the State Criminal Investigation Department have launched an investigation into the young boy's sudden death.
