Kenyan award-winning afro-pop music group Sauti Sol has been announced as part of the celebrity artists featured on Forbes Under 30!

The group which comprises vocalists Bien-Aimé Baraza, Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi, and guitarist Polycarp Otieno is set to feature in the 4-day event that will be held in Gaborone, Botswana this April from the 23rd to the 26th.

Sharing the news to their over 6 million followers, Forbes shared a picture of the group on their official Instagram page where they commended the group for their great work.

"Just when you thought this event could not get any better..." started off the post revealing that the boy band would be part of the summit.

Announcing the new addition Forbes social media post read, "The Pan-African welcome celebration expands its reach with one of the biggest groups to come out of Kenya, Sauti Sol!"

Before pointing out some of the reasons why the group had been picked to be part of the Forbes Under 30 summit.

"Their awe-inspiring melodies and harmonies are sure to warm your soul and get you dancing on your feet! Don't miss out! There are still a few tickets left, register today to secure your spot. #under 30 summit #ForbesU30 #Event Life #Africa." The rest of their post read.

Sauti Sol's Savara was among the first people to comment on the post unable to hide his excitement.

"Honoured and thankful," wrote the award-winning artist.

Fans and friends of the group flocked to the comment section highlighting how happy and proud they were for the group as they congratulated them for always flying the Kenyan flag high and beyond.

Some of the other celebrities featuring in the summit include Hollywood actor and producer Denim Richards, award-winning Nigerian artist Fireboy DML, Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer Davido, model, author, and activist Georgie Badiel-Liberty and CEO of Pencils of Promise Kailee Scales among others.
