Marriage works! Moji ShortBaba's wife says as they celebrate their 2nd anniversary
Nyawira Gachugi said she highly recommended marriage as it is blessing
TV host Nyawira Gachugi is proudly and happily celebrating her husband gospel singer Moji Shortbaba as the two mark their second year in marriage.
Taking to her social media pages, Nyawira went on to pen a sweet message to her husband highlighting that she has loved their journey every step of the way.
Nyawira in her post reminded her fans and followers that in as much as we yearn for the fairy tale type of stories the beauty was in choosing each other every day and year by year making the dream work.
"We turn two!! Today @mojishortbabaa and I celebrate 2 years of marriage." Started off an excited Nyawira.
"A friend of mine once said that sometimes we look forward to saying it’s been 40 years but the glory is simply in another year together.
"I have loved the journey so far. I have loved being a part of this union and I pray that God allows us to see many years together! Marriage is a blessing- I highly recommend it,” Nyawira Gachugi gleefully added as she prayed over their union and dispelled the notion that marriages don't work nowadays.
February 5th 2021, was the day the gospel artist shocked many including his fans, most who didn't have a clue that he was dating when he went on one knee and proposed to his then girlfriend Nyawira.
The following month the couple held their traditional wedding ‘Ruracio’ and 3 months later on the first of May the two tied the not in a lavish and colourful invite only wedding attended by only their immediate family and close friends.
Last year taking to his socials, Moji revealed proposing to Nyawira was 'the best' decision he ever made.
"A year ago I went down on one knee! (For a short man it's not that far niko down anyway) It was the best decision I have ever made! And it was the beginning of something so beautiful! I am truly blessed to have you!! To forever my wife!" The artist wrote.
