Lamar received the award for Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, Best Live Performer, and Video Director of the Year together with his partner Dave Free
The Awards ceremony was hosted by Fat Joe with performances from Sexxy Red, GloRilla, City Girls, DaBaby, LL Cool J, Lil Jon, Ludacris, Nelly, Chingy, Bow Wow, Da Brat, and more.
Ghana’s Black Sherif took home the award for Best International Flow beating his competitors like AKA, Central Lee, and Gazo among others.
