The untimely death of Bishop Allan Kiuna, founder of the Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), has deeply affected Kenyans.

Bishop Kiuna passed away yesterday after a long battle with multiple myeloma cancer, leaving behind a wife and three children.

Diagnosed in 2018/2019, multiple myeloma cancer occurs when abnormal plasma cells build up in the bone marrow, forming tumors in many bones throughout the body.

Since his diagnosis, Bishop Kiuna had been in and out of hospitals for treatment.

In December 2023, he announced that he was cancer-free after undergoing treatment in the United States.

Bishop Kiuna initially kept his condition private, only going public about his battle with cancer in 2019.

After a successful medical trip, he revealed that his treatment cost 460 million Kenyan Shillings but expressed gratitude to God for not having to spend any of his own money.

Bishop Allan Kiuna was 57 years old at the time of his passing.

Rest in peace, Bishop Allan Kiuna.
