Maina Kageni endorses Jalang'o's 2022 Langata MP bid

Media personality, Maina Kageni has endorsed his colleague, Jalang'os bid to become Lang'ata's next MP.

Maina's endorsement comes just few days after Jalang'o announced he has his eyes set on the August house, believing that he is the change that Lang'ata constituents need.

Speaking on Jalang'o TV, Maina promised to endorse Jalang'o, fund raise and be at his rallies as long as he won't run under any political party.

"If you want it go for it but run as an independent candidate." Maina told Jalang'o. 

Good thing about running as an independent candidate is that you won't be conforming to a party or anyone.

He added,

I will give you money and I will be at your rallies. I will support you because hujui kudanganya. I will endorse you so go for it, I promise you. Who endorsed Obama first? Oprah Winfrey pulled her strings and spoke at that demo convention that moved people."

Maina went ahead to heap praise on Jalang'o's generosity saying he follows his deeds and is impressed by how far he goes to help those in need.

When asked whether he will heed to his advice and run as an independent candidate, Jalang'o smiled as he brushed off the question.

The endorsment from such a huge figure who commands a huge following is a welcome boost to Jalang'o's bid ahead of 2022.
