Rapper Mohwaz brings together Bamboo, Labalaa and other legends in new album

US based Kenyan gospel rapper Mohwaz has released his debut album 'Shujaa' which he has surprisingly worked on for about ten years.

. The 20-track album features veteran Kenyan rappers like Bamboo, Zakah Wenyeji and Labalaa who by jumping on it have validated it to be a true hip hop album.

On the gospel front, several dope musicians both from Kenya and the USA have been involved, this includes fiery rapper Kamlesh Kagaba, Allan Aaron, Phil Kimemia, Varesa London (USA) and Loso (USA).

Mohwaz started writing and performing gospel rap songs at the age of 10 and recorded his first single “Toka Kwenye Giza” back in 2005. He cites Ukoo Fulani, Juliani, Kamlesh Kagaba as some of his main musical inspirations and mentors.

He and his family relocated to the US where he has been a resident of the state of Massachusetts ever since.
