This is why lil Wayne needs a wife

American rapper Lil Wayne feels like its time to get re-married. The rapper shared a tweet revealing that his accumulating wealth is the reasons he wants a woman by his side.

"I need a wife man, I’m getting too wealthy." He tweeted

Last year, the rapper had been rumoured to have married his girlfriend Denise Bidot.

The rumours were stirred by a tweet he put up that read;

 "Happiest man alive! Today is the beginning of our forever. Forever?? Forever, ever?? FOREVER EVER!!!!! The Carters."

The rapper denied the rumours in an Instagram live with Nicki Minaj telling her that the tweet referred to his kids,

'I said The Carters, and girl, that’s my damn sons, that’s my sons’ little name of their little group."

He went on to deny the marriage rumours saying,

"I’m so glad you asked me that. I did not get married."

The rapper has four kids, each with their own mother. 

He  was married to Toya Johnson in 2004 and split up in 2006.
