'Not a player anymore,' Diamond Platnumz

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz admits that he has been a player in the past. He says not anymore as he has outgrown that character.

When asked whether he is a player, the 'Mtasubiri' hitmaker told BBC that;

"No," he replied while laughing

He said he was teaching people something in the Netflix reality show Young, Famous and Africa.

"In that reality show, I had to say somethings to teach people. If I went there pretending to be decent, no one will learn."

"So I had to tell people the kind of character I had in the past. While growing, my blood was boiling."

Adding;

"My blood doesn't boil as it used to. It is calm."

In the reality show, he opened up about cheating on Zari with Hamisa Mobetto. He added that long distance relationship was the cause as Zari was living in South Africa.

Diamond also asked fans to stop dictating the time he should get married.

He is currently rumored to be dating singer Zuchu. He shares kids with Zari Hassan, Hamisa Mobetto and Tanasha Donna.
