Alikiba speaks after covid-19 infection
The singer cancelled a US tour after the infection
Tanzanian singer Alikiba has stepped out for the first time after announcing that he had been infected with the Covid 19 virus.
Kiba shared a video in his car assuring his followers that he was okay and had recovred.
"Guys thank you so much. Nimeanza kupona sasa hivi. I'm doing good. Ila nilikua hoi taabani." (I've started recovering but I was in a bad state)
Kiba was supposed to start his US tour which he had to cancel. He apologized to his fans telling them that the virus was the reason behind the cancelation.
“To all my fans who have been impatiently waiting for the commencement of my Only One King US tour, 2022 which was meant to commence on the 2nd d September. I am truly saddened and devastated to say that I have tested positive for Covid-19,” he said in a statement
Adding;
“Hereby we are forced to postpone and reschedule to the soonest date possible. Nothing is more to me than the health of my band, crew, and my fans,”
“I have immense love for you all and I sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused. Until then I hope everyone stays safe and takes all necessary precautions. In Shaa Allah. Will see you soon." He concluded
The singer's management is yet to announce the new dates of his US tour.
