Three months after her marriage, Esma called the it quits
Esma Platnumz, sister to Diamond Platnumz was married as a third wife. The wedding ceremony was star studded and had been aired on live TV.
Three months later, Esma called the it quits. She had been married to a Tanzanian- South African based businessman called Msizwa.
She was married as a third wife.
Well, Esma says she is not ready to be married as a third wife again, she wants to be the only one. She recalls a dream she had;
"Nyie nimelala leo nimeota nimeolewa mke wa 3 tena." (I slept and dreamnt I was married as a third wife again)
She said she had to wake up and pray againt the dream;
"Nikastuka nikakemea nikasali tena nikamuuliza Mungu wangu kweli maombi yangu ya usiku maono yangu ni mke wa 3 kweli!!? Bora nije kuangalia magorofa marefu km wa kwangu peke yangu nimekosa." (I got shocked, prayed against the dream. I would rather stay single if I don't get a man thats only belongs to me alone)
Last year, Esma shared a social media post, blaming the pandemic for helping her make a quick decision of getting married when she wasn't ready.
"Labda nilikurupuka, nilikua na haraka. Sikujipa mda wa kufikiria je, ninayeolewa naye ni sahihi kwangu?" (I was in a hurry, I didn’t give myself time to reflect on the person I was getting married to.)
"Kipindi kile kilikua cha corona, stress na nini. Mtu akija unaona kama zali la mentali. Sitaki kurudia makosa niliyofanya kipindi hicho cha nyuma."
(It was corona time and I was stressed, when he came, I thought I won a jackpot. I don’t want to make wrong decisions that I had made before.)
