Nigerian superstar and self-acclaimed African Giant Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known by his stage name Burna Boy is one huge disgruntled guy after losing the 'Song of the Summer,' VMA's award.

The Afrobeat star isn't even bothered to hide it.

Taking to his TikTok page the 'On The Low' hit-marker posted a video expressing his disappointment with American artist Jack Harlow winning “Song of the Summer” at this year’s VMAs.

Burna Boy, who often steers clear of media controversy and turmoil, shared a video of an incredibly huge crowd at a parade turning up while jamming to his hit song “Last Last” loudly.

He captioned the video, “When #MTV Says Jack Harlow Had The Song of the Summer [yawn emoji],” he tweeted,

“Wow so many heartbroken people #LastLast #SongoftheSummer.”

Jack Harlow's big night at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards had both viewers and artists alike truly disappointed.

After winning the fan favorite Song of the Summer Award over Beyonce and BTS.

Viewers took to social media to share their thoughts, with one noting "A white man winning over Beyonce, BTS and Doja, VMAs be serious."

Burna Boy’s single “Last Last” is his first to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo or lead artist.

It’s also his highest-charting song, spending the eighth week at the top of the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs chart.

The colorful tune, which samples Toni Braxton’s 2000 hit “He Wasn’t Man Enough,” has held the top spot on the US Afrobeats chart for the longest amount of time.
