Alyssa Scott announces 2nd child with Nick Cannon

American comedian Nick Cannon is expecting his second child with Alyssa Scott, a year after their first child passed away from cancer.

Fortunately for the parents, lady luck smiled favourably upon them.

Alyssa took to Instagram Wednesday to share the celebratory news, letting the world know that she’s expecting her third baby, and Nick Cannon is the father.

“With you by my side… ,” the model captioned a photo of herself stunning in blue while holding her daughter, Zeela.

The baby bump is nothing short of a miracle for the Cannon family given the unfortunate loss of her and Cannon’s son, Zen S. Cannon.

Nick Cannon broke the hearts of many, when he shared the story of his son, Zen Cannon, passing; he was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer upon birth.

Zen did not live long enough to celebrate his first birthday unfortunately. However, Nick Canon celebrated his brief existence by honouring his son’s brief life on his daytime TV talk show.

The pair also went on to establish a pediatric cancer foundation called Zen’s Light in celebration of what would have been his first birthday in June 2022. 

“June 23 will forever be a day of celebration. a beautiful lighting ceremony to honor the life of an angel. Zen’s birth has now transformed into “Zen’s light.”

We are proud to announce his new foundation that will help so many others in this world,” posted cannon underneath a photo on Instagram. he captured the poignant moment by releasing a floating lantern to honour his son, with Scott standing beside him.

Over the last few years, Nick Cannon has been under scrutiny for the number of children he has sired with different women. In this case however, I think we should allow him a pass.
