Another interesting fact is that when he was charged with sexual abuse back in 1995 before being released on an appeal of his conviction, Jim Carrey, the Canadian actor used to write him funny letters to cheer him up.

Makaveli recorded over 713 songs, was cast in 7 movies between the years 1991 and 1996, and sold over 75 million records.

He once said, "I can't explain why I shine and no one else shines, I think everybody shines in different things and a lot of things I can't do, I can't play basketball like every other black person in America but I can act, I know how to go to that true sport in myself because I am there every day, I can be me, I can be however because I am true to me."

In that interview, he voiced how a lot of people struggle with living as their true selves and that that is what differentiates him from them.

It is speculated that he still has 7 albums left to be released.

It is really a pleasure to have Makaveli as your favorite rapper, J. Cole.
