Mugithi artist Fatxo has denied being a member of the LGBTQI community.

The star was responding to the allegations that he and his cousin plus the driver might have sexually abused Jeff Mwathi on the night he died.

Speaking exclusively to Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi, he said;

"I am not gay, I have never been and I will never be. The people who wanted to bring me down came up with lies because they felt like the murder story won't work.

I love women and women love me. I did not start posting my girlfriend because people said I am gay. What pisses me off is the musicians we hang out with I have ever touched them.

It was the most painful thing to me, I expected all the ladies I have had relations with to come out and confirm I am not gay.I was tempted to leak intimate photos."

Fatxo says he is waiting to see what his enemies will come up with next.

Fatxo was the main suspect in the death of Jeff Mwathi.

He took to his socials to celebrate after he was cleared off the suspect list by the DCI.

In the post, he asked people not to be quick to judge him.

Dear fans, Followers & The General Public.

 “I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to address the recent allegations that have been circulating about me and my involvement in the death of my friend Jeff Mwathi.

First and foremost, I want to express my deepest sympathies to Jeff's family and friends, and to anyone else who has been affected by this situation. I know that this has been a difficult time for many people, and I want to acknowledge the pain and hurt that has been caused by these accusations,” Fatxo said in part.

He went on to tell the public that he has not been found guilty of Jeff Mwathi’s murder by the DCI detectives and the ODPP.

“I also want to take this opportunity to clear my name and to assure you all that I have been found not guilty after thorough investigations by the DCI detectives and the ODPP.

“While I am relieved to have this behind me, I know that there are still people who may be struggling with feelings of anger, frustration, and disappointment,” he added.

DJ Fatxo further cautioned Netizens against jumping to conclusions and cyberbullying others whenever anything happens.

“I want to use this situation to remind all of us of the importance of not jumping to conclusions or cyberbullying anyone based on mere accusations or hearsay stories. As many of you know, I have gone through a very difficult period both emotionally and physically, and I know firsthand how damaging and hurtful it can be to be on the receiving end of false accusations and cyberbullying,” he added.

In conclusion, DJ Fatxo said;

“Let's all take a moment to reflect on how we can be more compassionate, understanding, and respectful towards each other. I understand that this situation may have been difficult for some of you, and I want to encourage everyone to seek out the facts and approach this situation with an open mind and a compassionate heart.

“Let's use this situation as an opportunity to come together, to learn from each other, and to grow as individuals and as a community. Thank you for your continued support and understanding during this difficult time. I appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope that we can all move forward with grace and love. Sincerely, Lawrence Wagura (DJ Fatxo),”.

At the same time, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is set to recommend an inquest into Jeff Mwathi's death.
