Abel Mutua stuns daughter after revealing crazy fact about her grandpa
The film director's daughter was shocked after learning her family's history
Actor who is also a film director, Abel Mutua surprised his daughter after revealing that he was raised by his mother and grandfather who is his stepfather.
In the video of Mumbus and her father doing a question and answer segment that was uploaded on YouTube by Judy Nyawira aka Miss Director, Abel explained to Mumbus that her grandfather is his stepfather but not his biological father.
"Grandfather is not my grandfather?" Mumbus asked in surprise. Abel told him that his guardian was his grandfather Mumbus but his stepfather.
In addition, he explained that his biological father left him and his brother when they were children.
"Actually Jesse (your brother) doesn't know our biological father at all," Abel told his daughter.
"When I was 12 years old and your uncle Jesse was 7 years old, shosh met Babu and they fell in love," Mutua explained to Mumbus.
Mutua continued by saying that her mother raised her and her brother as a single mother for several years before marrying their stepfather.
The film director added and said that his stepfather had his own family, so he had a wife and 5 children.
His stepfather's first wife passed away and left 4 girls and 1 boy and then they had 1 child together so we ended up being 8.
"Grandfather raised us as his children and is more of a grandfather than a real grandfather," Abel said with a smile.
