Media personality Betty Kyallo blames her white wedding gown for her failed marriage with Dennis Okari

Media personality, entrepreneur, and TV host Betty Kyallo has revealed she blames her white wedding gown for her failed marriage with fellow news anchor Dennis Okari.

The two tied the knot back in. October, 2nd 2015 after about 4 years of dating but sadly filed for a divorce 6 months after.

Speaking during an interview with Dr. Kingori on the Wicked Edition, the ever-bubbly Betty who doesn't shy away from speaking about her personal life admitted that she also doesn't understand how her marriage crumbled.

“I’m still trying to comprehend how it all happened. We were together for four years before getting married, but after just six months, everything fell apart. I can’t help but think there might be something wrong with that white dress," the celebrated media personality said before chuckling.

Betty's younger sister Mercy who had accompanied the journalist to the interview in a light-hearted moment took a jab at her sister noting that her marriage had been a short college course of some sort.

“Six months of marriage, was that a course or what was that?” Mercy said before they all burst out laughing.

The Flair and Aftershave by Betty CEO went on to add that she's however healed and she and her baby daddy are actually friends and she is happy he found his one and remarried.

Interestingly enough, in a past interview the mother of one had appeared to blame her young age and naivety for their failed marriage. She noted that after the wedding she realized she did not want to be married.

Betty went on to reveal that she had grown so much since then and her perspectives changed. She didn't touch on her 2nd failed relationship with city lawyer Nick Ndeda even though the two had already gotten engaged.

"But right now, I have grown as a woman, I understand myself and I now know what I want.

I’m ready to mend my ways so I also get my ring. But now, I’m not in a hurry. Whoever God will send my way is who I will settle with," Betty said back then.

Ironically she maintains that even though she gets a man who truly loves her she might skip the whole white wedding as she feels it has a jinx to it, at least when it comes to her.

“The divorce has significantly shifted my views on marriage. If I get a nice guy who I think I would want to be my partner for life, I probably would not go down the aisle.

I would just probably date, then come we stay, or do a traditional wedding and live it at that. I don't know but I feel like the white dress, there is something about that white dress," the mother of one casually said.
