Samidoh moved by teacher using his songs to educate kids
The Mugithii artist asked netizens to help him find the teacher and school where he teaches
Celebrated Mugithii artist Samidoh has shared how insanely impressed he is by a teacher who has gone viral for using the artists vernacular music to teach kids in school.
SHaring the video on his official Instagram page Samidoh asked his fans and netizens sleuths to help him identify the said teacher and the school where he taught.
In the now trending video, which was first shared on TikTok by a user identified as Mungai Karenge and later on deleted the primary school teacher can be seen engaging with the kids passionately.
He decides to change tactics in a bid to help them grasp his teaching easier and notifies them that he'll be incorporating a song into their lesson.
"Can I teach you a song? We are going to use the tune of Samidoh... okay you all listen to me," the teacher can be heard saying as he narrates the countries of East Africa to his students.
After he is done he asks them to sing along and the kids excitedly join in. The teacher could be seen dancing and hyping the class as they sang out the countries listed on the blackboard.
An elated Samidoh shared the video with his over 351 thousand Instagram followers praising the teacher and tooting his own horn for making good music, a humble brag.
"Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don't understand the language, they still know good music when they hear it.
Special appreciation to this teacher. Nani anamjua and the name of the school," Samidoh's caption read.
Netizens in the comment section commended the teacher for using such beautiful ways to educate the young ones and ensure they retain the knowledge they learn as opposed to the brute force of canning and punishments.
