Gengetone musician Sylvia Ssaru has said that young rapper Mary Ngesh aka Kaveve Kazoze should pay her so that she can collaborate with her musically.

In the video she published, Ssaru said that the artist who has excited Kenyans with her song 'Rieng Genje' needs more than one million shillings to be able to collaborate with her after Kenyans asked the two artists to collaborate and make music.

"Just give me one million and I'll just do a chorus for her," said Ssaru. The young artist said that she also did not get collaborations with fellow artists easily.

"At least I didn't find those collabs so easy. FatherMoh, do you remember when you were denying me a collabo?"

she asked her fellow artiste who featured her in his song 'Kaskie sibii hoku kwenu'.

Her song 'Ngesh' has been able to get a lot of fans from political leaders in the country including Karen Nyamu and former Governor Mike Sonko.

Nyamu praised the talent of Mary in a clip she shared where she was singing the song that pushed Ngesh to fame.

"Ngesh should know that Kanairo bebe is looking for you. This is the kind of talent that we should not watch go to waste. Ngesh is a dem of forms and Karenzo is an advocate for creating a collabo that will be very successful," wrote Nyamu.

Despite gaining fame from her popular song "Rieng Genje", the artiste explained the challenges she experienced in singing including the lack of money for studio fees and a camera to create interesting videos for her online platforms.

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko also posted a statement on his official Twitter account asking Kenyans to help him find her so that he could provide her with musical support.

The governor also knew the song word for word. "This song has inspired me," he wrote.
