Willis Raburu is quitting Citizen TV and has acknowledged that making the decision was challenging.

"They have been to gracious to me. I have tendered in my resignation up to now it has been an amazing transition."

What next for him, "Well Im going to rest, I want to take a breather, take a step back, I want to share the knowledge that I have and also continue with my Masters."

"Over the past few weeks I have had the opportunity to reflect on a lot of things concerning my life of course and what has become a general theme for me, of course, is gratitude," he shared.

Adding;

"I'm grateful to everyone who has walked with me in all these 13 years I have been in the media, doing several videos."

Raburu continued, "Thanks to the media, I have been exposed to many wonderful things in my 13 years, which has allowed me to achieve everything."

"Im grateful for the opportunity to come out and do what it is that I love. I have learnt a lot. I have experienced a lot and it has allowed me to grow in my mind and my appreciation of people and my appreciation of things and even different attitudes.

I mean from the time I started as an intern in 2010 at Royal Media to the different stories I have done. I had an interview with a sitting president.

I have traveled and gone and was able to cover Kenya's maiden entry into the war in Somalia. I have read the news, and I have done different types of stories, political stories, and human interest stories. I have done it all."

It had an excellent learning curve, according to Willis. He congratulated his coworkers.

"Undefined means you get rid of the box, altogether," he said of his 13 years, which will be the subject of a book.

"I have also had occasion to host one of the biggest shows for the youth and content creation and entertainment on 10 over 10."
