Former Machachari child star Ian Nene popularly known as Almasi (his stage name) has excited netizens after he shared a video of himself leading Hindu faithful's in Mombasa during their festival, Jagannatha Ratha Yatra.
The video has elicited a lot of mixed reactions from netizens with most praising the young youth for always living his life unapologetically and loud.
In the said video, Ian, who was in the country visiting his family last week, can be seen dancing and chanting as a crowd of Indian men followed suit with sheer excitement and adoration.
The model was seen rocking a white robe with black polka dots print, a brown head scarf, and beads around his neck and waist.
He seemed fully engrossed as he sang for the crowd, before breaking into a dance vigorously shaking his shoulders.
Other faithful drawn to his energy joined in the dancing trying to much up his tempo.
Captioning the video, Ian highlighted that that was the best Rathayatra he'd ever been to.
He gushed over the beautiful energy from all the people around him and how blessed he'd been not only to celebrate it with fellow Hindis but his countrymen as well.
"Jagannatha Rathayatra in Mombasa, Kenya for me was by far THE BEST RATHAYATRA EVER!!!! UNMATCHED! ECSTATIC! 🤪🥰❤️," part of his caption read.
He went on to add;
"Dancing and chanting with my fellow Kenyan family was one of the greatest gifts I received from this short trip I had back home 🥰❤️“O Jagannath, Lord of the Universe, kindly be visible unto me.” 🙏🏾
