Millicent Wambui Nganga is her real name, but Kenyans call her Milly WaJesus.

She is wed to Peter Kabi, also known as Kabi WaJesus, and the couple has two children.

She went as Milly Shangash at first. In 2014, as she launched her Facebook page, she changed her name.

"I became Milly WaJesus in 2014, That's when I changed my name I used to call myself some very interesting names. You see that time when you were opening a Facebook account, you were green, you didn't understand you were asked what you want to call yourself, your nickname, I didn't have a nickname.

"In school, I was called Millicent, So when I was opening my Facebook, I was like ah what's my nickname? So I just called myself Milly Shangash," Milly said.

In a family of five, Milly is the first child to be born. She entered the social media world to do business, and she has always chosen this as her profession.

"I've always been an entrepreneur, when I was getting into social media life, I was already doing business. Business for me is something I love doing. When I was growing up I knew I wanted to become a businesswoman, I didn't want those other things," Milly added.

Her objective is to create a family brand. "We sell clothing for men, and we'll start selling for ladies and kids very soon. We'll soon offer a wide variety for families. A family brand is something we want."

She was born in Muranga when her mother was only 18 years old, the digital content creator also revealed.

"Nilizaliwa kwa nyumba kwa kitchen, ushai ona zile mawe tatu za kando tuu hapo? My mum got me when she was very young," she added.

Her birth certificate shows she was born in Dandora, "I don't know which hospital I was taken to but in my birth certificate inaonyesha nilizaliwa Dandora. But najua penye nilizaliwa. I think what happened is my dad and mother were not together when I was born. She was just young and she was pregnant.

When I was born my Dad came to mum's place and asked for a hand in marriage. But they didnt do that exactly, they ran away."

She added that "My grandfather did not accept his daughter to get married at that age, so they run away."

Due to her tendency to finish last in class, she was known as a "dunderhead."

"In terms of academics, I was very behind. In Class 3 I could not say my name I could not count, some of my uncles would come and ridicule me. the whole family knew I would be called dunderhead to my face" she shared. But along the way, things changed as she pushed herself."
