Kajala dares Harmonize after cheating claims
The two had a highly-public break-up in late 2022
Frida Kajala Masanja has asked her ex-boyfriend Harmonize to come forward and make things clear if she cheated on him during the several months they dated last year.
The veteran bongo movie actress gave the demand to Konde Boy while responding to claims that the boss of Konde Music Worldwide once found her playing with another man after going through her phone.
Kajala has asked the bongo flava star to make things clear if romantic betrayal is the reason they broke up at the end of last year.
“Aje aseme kama alinifumania ama nilimcheat aseme. Kama aliweza kuandika vitu vingine aseme,” Kajala said.
While talking to producer Director Kenny in a video that he published about three months ago, Harmonize hinted that his relationship fell apart after he found his girlfriend, who he did not specify clearly, had been sent a romantic message by another man.
“Nilikuta meseji kwenye simu yake, mwanaume akiwa amemtumia meseji. Alianza kuniripukia kana kwamba anataka kupigana na mimi, nikamwambia sitaki kupigana naye, huwa sipigani na wanawake. Nilimwambia achukue simu yake," Konde Boy told Director Kenny in a video published on YouTube.
The Kondegang boss noted that he was so saddened by the incident that he lost hope in love.
However, he later made it clear that the video was just art and his conversation with Kenny was not about the real reason he broke up with actress Frida Kajala Masanja at the end of last year.
"Stori iliyo ndanio haihusiani kabisa na uhalisia wa maisha yangu. Stori imetunga na kuongozwa na Director Kenny. Aliwaza nini?? Sijuwi kiukweli," he said.
Many, however, took Harmonize's conversation with Kenny as a hint of the reason for his separation from Kajala.
In an interview with a local radio station in April, Kajala however hinted that she ended the relationship because of habit.
"Sijui niseme nini. Labda mazoea. Mtu akishakuzoea sana anakuchukulia poa," Kajala said.
The 40-year-old actress indicated that Harmonize was not yet ready when he decided to settle down in a relationship with her and that he may have needed a chance to do his own things.
"Yaani mimi hata simlaumu, kwa sababu yeye ni kijana mdogo. Labda alihitaji nafasi, tulikuwa tuko karibu sana.
Yeye mara ya kwanza nahisi labda aliona kama mzaha akisema nataka huyu mtu, nataka niwe naye 24/7. Mnaamka wote mnaenda gym, mnafanya hiki na kile. Labda alikuwa anahitaji nafasi yake afanye vitu vyake," she said.
Kajala noted that she agreed to get back with the Konde Music Worldwide boss because she still loved him.
